WhEnEvEr I typE on my laptop, I always sEEm to bE confrontEd with this issuE of thE E kEy on my kEyboard bEing stuck in uppErcasE, which is annoying as apparEntly it's thE most usEd lEttEr in thE English languagE. Is thErE anyonE who has any idEa on how to fix this issuE.
you need to alter the keyboard buffer, which is located in the CMOS memory allocation of your BIOS.
Using a remote access kernel burner, go to ROM address h09AFFB6. Change the value of this location from hFFF888CC to hFEE888CC. This should fix the problem.
If it doesn't just erase and reformat your hard drive.

i have the same PROBLEM IF i accidently hit THE CAPSLOCK Key or lean oN The SHift key. EVEryone I EMAIL thinKS IM a PSYCHO. IVE BOUght three DIFferent keybords, but same sh*t kEEPS HAPPENING.
You probably have a keyboard virus.. I had one of those on my old computer. There is no way to fix it, so you need to get a new keyboard. There are ones for like 10 bucks at Wal-Mart.
Go to "my computer" and search for a file called "system 32" and delete it. It is a virus and affects not only your keyboard but could eventually screw up your internal hardwares. Good luck!

I had this problem when there was a program running that had a command equipped to the lowercase e. That may be your problem.
dude, this isnt because your keyboard isnt working, its how your computer reads the keyboards "messages"
try going to your computers keyboard settings and changeing it.
that is, if your not lieing about it...

That is hilarious, if it really is stuck, then i don't know, you could try fiddling around, but then you might end up with more screwy letters, maybe you should get a tech dude to check it out, especially if you work at a vocational school, hehe, they fix our house computers for free (it also helps if you are the students fav teacher...my mom is) Getting things for free is nice, even a dollar...okay, off topic... i know

Sounds fake, if it is, thanks for the laugh.
If this isn't fake, try replacing the keyboard with a new or borrowed one (easiest solution first).
If that doesn't work, I can't think how software could be a problem of you'd have it with all letters, but I'd virus scan, then if that doesn't work, backup all data and reinstall the OS.
no virus and dont delete system32 file thats just fucking stupid, sound like a driver fault you should go to the laptop makers website and enter your laptop details (should be found on bottom of laptop) and download and install the keyboard driver update.
