My husband wants dreads but i don't?

my husband likes dreads and has dreads before before i knew him but i hate them! they look durty and unkept to me but he says everyone loves them. he maintains that he keeps them clean and tight but i just don't like tge look look and I'm afraid imma be less attracted than his short hair he has now. i know I'll love him either waybut i want to still be attracted to him. wwe've talked about it on more than one occasion. i should but bite my cheek and allow it, huh?

    Interesting choice of words.

Either you accept him or your don't, but you don't get to control what he does with his hair. Thems the rules.

    • Well, he's more asking if i'd be okay with it so he's giving me a choice in the matter, and i just want him to be happy but.. but.. they're gross to me DX

That sucks if you become less attracted to him because of his hair. I hope he never gets less attracted to you because you changed your hair style! Zack Delarocha was hot with dreads.

Let him do what he wants with his hair, but then get an outrageous perm to get back at him.

What the fuck you mean "let him" ? It's his body and he's a grown ass man, if you're concerned about something so childish be thankful. He could be out fucking other women so it could be worse, don't try to control his ass

Would you want him to control what you did with your hair?

I couldn't agree with you more about dreds. A shiver of disgust just ran down my spine. Even the most beautiful girl becomes totally repulsive with dreadlocks. What kind of job does this weirdo have that he can wear dreds to work? Anyway, dreadlocks are a religious statement, not a fashion statement, so unless he wants to become a Rastafarian, he's just a loser with crappy hair if he has dreds.
Anyway, I'm with you; put your foot down or the door to your pleasure palace should close.

hahahhahaa my boyfriend with dreads has grown tired of them and has mentioned how he want to cut them off. I'm in pain :(

But ... honestly it's his hair and it's his decision and I shall try to be mature about it.

You could try the tactic that i'm using on my guy atm: I try not to mention this or bring it up to discussion again because if i nag at him about it he is more likely to do something now just because he grew tired of my nagging.
Instead try and inspire him to maybe do something else with his hair that's more to your liking?

    Manipulation for the win.
