My head is itchy when its hot outside

All ways when it is hot outside, my head will get itchy. I do not have lice - I have looked at my head multiple times but nothing is moving allthough there are white things - also it'll get itchy if i skip showering for a day, is it normal?

yeah the oils that hang about the roots of your hair warm up in the sun and make your scalp kinda sweaty which causes the itchiness. when its very hot outside try having a extra hot shower in the morning this will get rid of most the gunk and oils on your hair roots and scalp. its so temping on a hot day when you wake up hot to have a colder shower but this will only make you even hotter and sweatier in the day.
so yeah give it a go and have a really hot shower in the morning!
also if your hair is dark your scalp will get hotter.
try only using shampoo during these hot showers in the morning because your hair wont be so silky like it is when you use condish too.
super soft silky hair creates more oils out in the heat.
    good luck :D

Hmm do those 'white things' stick to the hair like little grains. If so, they are the eggs of the head lice..the mature lice are not easy to spot.

  • Oh my gosh! The same happens to me..I've never found out why. I've had my scalp checked and I don't have lice so I'm not sure what the problem is..

maybe the heat causes your scalp to dry out?
