Women have taken care of toddlers for thousands of years and it never prevented them from cooking. She would have to cook for her and the kid too so why be mean and not include a portion for the hubby? It's just feminazi crap.

I assume she does a good job being a mother and a wife overall, in that case you would be a wise man if you would let it go. It's understandable that you're angry, but think about it this way. She has to deal with a toddler all day while you go to work. Yes, your job may be stressful but nothing is as stressful as taking care of a kid, you get the better end of the bargain.

She's stressed out like you. But maybe the two of you could take turns cooking for each other? It might give you some time to bond. If not, then you eat elsewhere but your kid would see less of you.

Gotta say this sounds like a communication problem on both your parts. Your GF might be feeling like you don't value her because she isn't working.

If you want her to make you dinner:

Tell your GF that you think she works just as hard as you (even if its a lie- make it convincing). Tell her you appreciate her.

Ask her to tell you about her day and listen without saying anything or judging.

Make an effort to do these things every day for a week. At the end of the week say, "I'm really exhausted. Do you think you could make dinner tonight? Maybe next week I'll make dinner and we can trade on and off?"

See what she says.
