  • What are you talking about? They are both Christian religions, they just have slightly different beliefs. The most important thing is that you two believe Christ died for you. It says in the Bible not to be divided by denominations because denominations do not get you to heaven, BELIEVING IN CHRIST does. Don't make this a problem. It's not like she's an atheist and your a Christian.

If it were me, I wouldn't let religion get in the way. If you guys really love each other, that's what matters, and you shouldn't let controversial things like religion mess up such a beautiful relationship.

  • Catholicism is for wimps. 90%% of Catholics are only Catholic because their parents brought them up that way, I swear.

Don't change just for her, follow what you truly believe in.

If you let religion get in the way of your relationship, then one of you is extremely intolerant.

Hi, there. Are you still together with the same girlfriend? Have your religious differences gotten in the way of your love for each other? I would very much like to know how this story unfolded. Please let me know, if you can. :)

Just another case of religion being the catalyst in ruining something.

  • Become a Catholic. You'd be joining a bigger team and supporting your wife & children, who her church will expect to be raised as Catholic. And if that is to big a deal for you, then move on.

      • Said it and done it - but since you magnify minor differences between the 2 Christian churches you likely lack the capacity to, in an act of love, be flexible & the larger person in your relationship. So, you should just move on.
