My girlfriend gets the worst tattoos

I met this woman on a dating site and on the site I have my preference as clearly not liking tattoos.

So when we met she admitted to having a little 3cm x 2cm tattoo and I asked would she get more and she said if she did it would just be one more and it would also be small.

Seven months in and she now has both small ones and four large ones and they are honestly all shit.

There is no way to put it more politely now I know you're thinking they probably aren't shit this guy just doesn't like tattoo's so let me clarify.

The straight lines aren't straight and you can see where they have had to redo them the colouring and shading go over the lines and no-one knows what the tattoo is of despite them being of things from tv shows that I thought were common knowledge.

Like if your friend says whats your tattoo of? and you have to say it's a dragon it's a shit tattoo why did they not already know that people know what a dragon looks like...

So I had the talk a few times told her I don't like them she says I'm being unfair about it but to be fair she now looks a mess and while she is genuinely a nice person the tattoos are wrecking it for me.

So now I'm stuck feeling like a cunt because I want to break up and breaking up over how someone looks feels really shallow ...

I even thought maybe she's fucking the tattoo guy because that would have made sense people do crazy shit for love but it's not even that she's just allowing him to do this?

So if your other half did this would you break up with them yes or no?

    Maybe you can take her to that place from the show tattoo nightmares and get em fixed up so she doesn't look like shit

    Well you made it clear in the beginning you had a preference and she lied to you. What else could she be lying about? There's no point in sticking around to find out.

    You said from the start you didn't like tattoos and she said she probably wouldn't get anymore. You stuck to your word while she didn't. She doesn't seem to care about your opinion, so I say dump her or you'll be seeing more tats in the future.

    yes I'd break it off.

    You told her from the beginning of the relationship that you don't like tatoos but she has continued to get them.
    It's her body and she has the right to get them if she wants, but being in a relationship she should also take your feelings into consideration.

    I don't think it's wrong for you to break up, I probably would, not necesssarily because of the visuals but because she entered the relationship under certain terms and without regard for my feelings disregarded them.
