My ghost story

Before you start reading - it's not supposed to make you scared. It's just me explaining what happened to me and my friends few years ago. I want to hear your opinion. Please don't comment if you don't have anything clever to say. And sorry for my English.

Me and my best friend were visiting his cousin who was my old friend as well. He told us about this strange building near to some farmer's garages and barns. Nor him (the farmer) nor his workers rarely come there and use those garages. They use it to keep and fix their tractors there. And there is this horrific building standing like 10-30 meters away from the garages. We decided to go there because we had nothing to do.

The building was surrounded by tall grass and bushes. It had no windows nor doors Seems like no-one ever went inside the building. We made our way through the tall grass. There were a lot of broken glass fragments/chips/shatters or whatever you call them. My friend slowly stepped his leg inside the house and the chips of broken glass cracked. Loud echo followed. Instantly after that we heard a VERY loud growl from upstairs. I almost pissed my pants! I screamed like a little girl. We got the hell out of there.

The next time we visited him, we decided to visit that house again. This time there were 5 of us. Me and one of the guys didn't go near the house. We stayed about 20 meters away from it. The other 3 weren't as scared and went inside the house. We were watching them and waiting for them to shit their pants. At that moment I didn't realise that the one who is going shit his pants was me. I was looking at the broken windows of the house. Inside of the house looked so dark. Suddenly I noticed a strange woman looking through the window. She appeared from nowhere. It looked like she was crouching (because I only saw her head and if she was standing I would have seen her body) and suddenly sticked her head through the window. She had red, short, messy hair. The movements of her head looked creepy and unrealistic - like robot's. She moved her head like 90 angle to the right, and right after that - 90 angle to the left, and disappeared. That scared the hell out of me. The guy that was standing next to me didn't get as scared. In fact, he didn't look scared at all. Later on he admitted that he didn't see anything. Seems like I was the only one who saw that. That's why I'm posting this story on INN. There's no-one I could discuss about this with.

What do you think was that woman? She didn't look like a human. Its movements were completely unrealistic. If it was a woman, what was she doing there? Was she homeless? Why would she hide from us? Why would she even be in a place like that creepy house? Why would she move her head like that? That's definitely not a human. Is that my imagination? Or a hallucination? But I have never had any hallucinations before or after that event. And what about the loud growl?

That house is haunted. 16
It's your imagination or a hallucination. 18

It could be a homeless person. Like you said, you heard a growl when the broken glass made the echo which tells me that someone just woke up.

However, I'm into the supernatural and want to believe that what you saw was a demon. I don't think hobos can afford red dye for their hair. Plus, the movements she made sound sort of demonic.

Hm. I'm not trying to minimize the scariness of what happened, but I'm still not convinced. Then again, I wasn't there, so who knows what happened?

I vote homeless person (drug abuse, have you ever seen a meth addict in action?) or possibly hallucination also. Not to be judgey, but 5 guys bumming around near a possibly haunted place at night? Sober? I wonder....

I lived in a haunted house for 5 years. There is nothing inhuman about ghosts other than they should not be bothering you and messing with your goddamned house.

    • It was daytime when we went there and we weren't drunk. At least I wasn't.

there are several options to think about :
_Maybe it was a homeless person like you said and could be crazy or under drugs
_maybe its a ghost because ghosts really exists they're called (jin) they exists in dirty places and in the places where nobody lives in
_Maybe because you were too scared , your mind was playing tricks on you and that's maybe why you're the only one who saw her

    • To me the house looked like a small hospital or a school. Besides broken glass, it also had plenty of debris and pipes sticking out of the floor. So, it actually looked like it had been burnt.

    I enjoyed that story.
I dunno what to say about the head movements since you describe them as being inhuman, but otherwise it fits the description of a homeless woman perfectly. Mentally unstable, scary looking, probably on drugs or suffering from withdrawl and thusly an angry person.
If you saw that woman poke her head out the window while your friends were in the house, how did they not see her? Did they not check the entire house?

    • I can't remember. I think they heard me screaming and ran back to see what's up with me.

        • Well, I was standing in front of the house and they had to go through the back door, because the front doors were locked. I assume that at that moment when they entered the house, I started screaming, so they didn't get to see that woman. But then again, the guy that was standing next to me didn't see her.

Oh right, they weren't in for long at all so. I dunno how the other fella could have missed it if he was paying any attention at all though....

I'm not saying it didn't happen, but most likely your imagination. Probably scared, thinking about it being haunted, and your mind made you see what you wanted to see.
