My gf's vagina does not smell right

Basically, me and my girlfriend were having sex for the first time, during when I was eating her out I smelt her vagina and it did not smell right, I mean it smelt really really bad, what should I do?

    Tell her to go to the doctor, and don't go down on her again til she gets a clean bill of health.

    She has an infection - probably a bacterial one if it smells. It's not something really bad and it happens to 2/3 of women at least once in their lifetime. Google it you'll get lots of info. Normally flagyl for both of you will do it. However your gf should also use those vaginal capsule (for candida) during treatment. If it doesn't work see a gynae.

    Bad diet, bad hygiene, infection. All of which are not bad, have her fix it.
