lets see:
firstly, i wouldn't worry about a wedding at this point, but you really feel you need or want to, i would go to a local courthouse, you can get a few papers drawn up and you will officially be married. much cheaper than a traditional marriage, then you can save up for the ceremony to have at a much later date if you want to even have one.
the fact that you are young doesn't have any impact on how good or bad a parent you are. as long as you are responsible, that's what matters. my aunt was 15 with her first kid, and she still did fine. that was 12 years ago, the kids well behaved and at the top of his class in middle school.

as for the accidentally leaving saw on, she's only 2, most people don't start retaining memories till about 3 years old. accidents happen. just don't make it a habit and you should be ok.

and the satanism thing, its like any other religion really. i don't care if you worship god, Allah, Satan, the Flying spaghetti monster, what have you.

as long as your religion doesn't promote bringing harm to others or forcing others to follow, I say do as you like. I may or may not agree with it (I don't follow any religion anyways), but who am I to judge you based on your belief or to say you can't?

i wouldn't be any better than those "holier than thou" assholes i despise.

I dont see any strong evidence here of bad parenting.

i know you don't need me to tell you being a parent is tough, especially when you have to balance school and/or work with it. don't be afraid to ask your family or friends for help if you need it.

I think irresponsible person is what they mean.

1. Do you love and care for your daughter?
2. Do you mistreat her in any form of way?
3. If not, do you plan to?

If you answered "Yes!" to the first question, and "No!" to questions 2 and 3, then you're a good mother.
Fuck your "friends". If they were really your friends they would support you and get off their high horses. You do you sweetheart, as long as it does not do harm to your child. :)

A bad parent is:

* A parent that comes home drunk and hits their kid all the time.

* a parent who rapes their kid

* A parent(s) who lets trash pile up in the house, never bothers to change the kids diaper and spends all their money on drugs/booze, or any other personal habit instead of getting food and stuff for their kid.

* a parent who pawns their kids Nintendo to feed their crack addiction.

those are bad parents.

You may be 17, but there are 17 year olds who ca. Take care of a baby well even if it's not optimal by some people standards, but everything you described says you're not fit to take care of this child please give her to a responsible family member who is willing to take care of her and seek psychological help.
