i just graduated high school and lately catching up with friends is next to impossible.
every-one seems as tho they should have a tonne of free time but when ever i try to catch up they all turn me down!!
am i one of those people that everyone secretly hates? or are they just lazy? or am i putting too much thought into it?
I find people change after high school. They tend to move on and do their own things. It's sad but true. Though you may find there is one friend (or more) that you will hang onto and they will stand by your side throughout your life, especially when you need them the most :)
I agree with hotchickie, People do change. That is why you have to find some TRUE friends! If they are going to diss you like that, I think they weren't your friends to begin with. And don't feel sorry or bad, if you were a good friend to them, hopefully, eventually they would come around and apologize, telling you why they treated you that way. but if you are really stressed and worried about them, forget about them, FIND SOME NEW FRIENDS and stay close to them. and if there is that one friend that hangs to you, KEEP him/her!
i have a good feeling i'm going to be one of those 'bad friends.' and i dont care. i know it's depressing, but the friends i'm making now can help me find myself and whatever for now, but, honestly, in the future, we're going to be very different people. i can already see my best friend will be an ignorant housewife, and she'll be content with that. well, that's not going to be me. but for now, while we still have a lot in common, it's alright to be friends with her. later, what's the point? and what's the harm in that? people move on, and you need to accept that.
you know "bugzbunnae", your absolutely right!!! and not only because you said it, but this post is a bit old, and i did exactly that... i accessed who i really was close to and tryed them, and they came through every single time, and continue to.
