My friend's dad?

I am 19 & have a huge crush on my friend's 42 year old dad. I am pretty sure he might know & he gives me the impression that he is attracted to me too. He stares at me quite a lot, tries to make eye contact w/ me, & smiles at me a lot. Is any of this normal?

Don't kid yourself, he'll never leave his wife. You make him feel good about himself.

I don't know any older males who wouldn't want a fling with a 19yo. I can pretty much guarintee that if you hit on him he would go for it and sleep with you. This is any older mans dream, so just give it to him

Hahahaha! Well in my opinion, I say you go for it! It could be a interesting experience for you but I recommend not EVER letting your friend know about it no matter how close you guys are. If he is still married to his wife, however, I don't think it's such a good idea to interfere with their relationship seeing as it could affect your friend badly if her mother and father were to grow apart due to your affair with him.

Obviously "daddy issues" is not just a funny joke for you. What attracts you most: his fatherly demeanor, his to ability to authoritate over you and his daughter, or the fact that he will be drawing in his social security and/or cashing in his 401k plan in the not so distant future? That is to say of course that you are attracted to a decently successful older man because I can not imagine any other reasons why someone would subject themselves to something like that. If not, please reconsider.

Umm..he's 42 u don't want that old thing! He has to take vigara to get it up, push up's before he has sex, he can only last like what a min in bed! Girl get with a nice young 20 something year old, someone that knows how to 'do the do' lol, a man that can last. The biggest mistake i made was sleeping with an old man gross, ass saggin', droopy nipples, old man smell not to mention bossy as hell in and out of bed! lmao you don't want that old thing!! lmao good luck :D btw i'm 18 going on 19 ;]

Zombie_girl08, how old was the guy you had sex with? 60? I don't think that a 42-year-old man who is somewhat physically fit would have a saggy ass or nipples!

There's nothing wrong with being attracted to older men. I've met a few 40-somethings who look to be in their 20's, still. I'm personally more homo-flexible myself, and I haven't met a man yet who can make me cheat on my girlfriend, but most of those who got me going were older than me by a good 10-15 years. The difficulty is in the place you are in your life. An older man can be a damn good shag, due to experience, and knowing what women like, but outside the bedroom, you're going to run into some difficulty, and that's just assuming the guy -wasn't- married. The married thing adds a whole other dimension that is best left alone.

I hope by now you've had sex, maybe even gotten pregnant by him. How's was it?

Yes, but he is just going to use you and when your friend finds out she is going to think you are disgusting and she is going to loathe her dad. So basically...nothing good comes out of it ... :\

I can't answer everybody, but I'll try my best. He might not be attractive to other people, but for some reason I'm just attracted to him & a good bit of it is sexual attraction. He still often stares at me & smiles at me & seemingly tries to flirt w/ me. I'm not saying he has a crush, I can just tell he's attracted. And I'm a female. My friend is 2 years younger than me & she's one of my best friends. I'm also very close w/ their family (yes, he's married), so I don't plan on doing anything about it.

It is a schoolgirl crush - I think it is normal.

First off, are you male or female? If you're male, you may want to make sure he's into the whole man-on-man cornholing thing first. The fact that he has a son doesn't sound good in favor of that, though.

If you're female, you could ask yourself how badly you want him. How good a friend is this person? Would you be willing to give up that friendship for what may just be a casual encounter?

I don't know why people keep coming up with the idea that it is daddy issues. This MIGHT be that, bu not necessarily. You know, you are probably bored with immature teenage boys that seem to think your eyes are located on you chest, and who can't keep their trousers on, and maybe looking for someone more physically/intellectually mature, and this is perfectly understandable.
Then you are probably misreading the signs: he's most likely only being nice to you. Now pretend you're him: it would be soooo unhealthy to date or whatever with a girl who's the same age as his daughter: it would be like making out with her, and this is sick, no?
Now imagine how would your friend feel if she finds out? Not so good.

NacAttack-Can I not just like him because I like him?

Cosmicgiggle-My father passed away 11 years ago, so.....

paradoxinsoxs-That's actually one of my fave movies, I didn't make the connection, though, until somebody else mentioned it.

Rectal-You're sick..my dad died. You ass.

You must have issues with your own father. That's a reason to go after older guys
