I am male 30 years old, I have a recent friend, whom younger than me by 14 years, to be honest I am so attached to him, as I do not have brothers ... And we talked about this.
I can see him online only, we never met, but again I really like him and miss him if I did not talk to him, is it normal?

If he come and goes offline, let him. Don't cling on to him. You're just an online friend. If he was 21 or older it'd be different. 16 year olds don't need that type of pressure from an adult. Someone of age barely wants that pressure.
He's 16, technically. Let this go. You can't expect for a 16 year old to keep up with a 30 year old. He's still a kid. And you don't know his parents or him personally. So you aren't in a position of trust. Not saying you're a creep but online is different. You gotta know your boundaries with people, and know when to back off.

I am actually not certain about age of consent anymore. If I remember correctly...it may actually be 16 now. I wouldn't know for certain though because I wouldn't even go near a situation like that.
However....if it's legal...who am I to say? If it's not but it really is meant to be...then wait a couple years. If it's meant to be, a couple years isn't the end of the world.
