My friend is friends with a pedophile wwyd?

I have a friend "M" who in a rage disclosed to me his friend "D" was a pedophile after D let him drive hos car when there was no indurance and he got a court date

So when M told me he said check it on the internet, and it was true so i said to him well why are you friends with a pedophile and he had a shocked raction im guessing he didny expect this to back fire on him,he stuttered and said theyve been friends for years and he doesnt want to end a long friendship

So after this i take notice that both of them are 30 yet have no friends there own age but between 18-22 which is a bit lurky and D even has friends in still in highschool,also i cant help but notice M always complains about people yet still hangs out with them so i can bet he talks about me behind my back i think the only reasob he hangs around younger ppl is because hes scared of being lonely

What would you do or think in this situation

    Right, well your comment there makes me think you're a troll, but nonetheless.

    I would drop them both, if he's defending the dude he's either sort of okay with what's going on, or so desperate for friends that he just doesn't care.

    One of my good friends who's usually so perceptive had something like this... she had known the kid forever and didn't want to believe it... but someone we knew from high school recently went to jail for sexually assaulting a 3 year old.

    I had been trying to warn my friend he was bad news. In the 2 or 3 times I invited him over, he stole weed, he stole random little knick knacks laying around, stole my bf's scale and possibly my friend's designer sunglasses and my other friend's perscription that she had left there. (some kind of painkiller I think)

    I told her about all this and warned her that he was a bloody klepto and she defended him. Few months later, BOOM. Rapes a child. Sometimes when you get those creepy, criminal type vibes from people... you might just be right. XD
