My friend has been acting oddly lately.

Several months ago, my friend was a very happy and active person. Every time I visit him, he is willing to play.

Now here's the story. For the past several weeks, I have visited him almost daily, as usual. He is always the one to answer the door. But now, his mom, dad, or sister answers the door. Then I say, "Where is he?" Then the reply is "I think he is on the computer upstairs in his room. I'll get him out." So I leave and wait. And wait. AND WAIT. Half an hour later, he still doesn't come out. I give up. I ring the bell again and they tell me that they cannot find him. So they allow me to help. Then, we look around and he is in one of the bathrooms with the door locked and he has his laptop in there. I knock. No answer. I knock again. Still no answer. After a while, he says in such a bored-sounding way, "What?" I say, "Come on out and play with me. I got nothin' else to do." And he says "Maybe." Im like "fine." So I go downstairs to wait and he still isn't out. I go back and repeat the above and he still doesn't come out. So I give up. I leave and go home.

A few notes:
1) He is not watching porn because he seems and sounds so unhappy and tired.

2) He isn't hiding in there just because he heard the doorbell ring and decided to mess with me and hide. He seems to be in there all day. I know this because I always come at different times each day. Such as 2:00 PM on saturday, 11:00 AM on sunday, 4:30 PM on friday, with no apparent pattern(s). And as always, he is locked up in the bathroom. I also know that because if he is running to hide, I would hear the thumping of his feet.

3) Just to clear it up, he is not using the bathroom just using the laptop.
