My friend always smells like she hasn't tooken a shower in years.

Well, I have this friend who is nice and all, but I hate the way she smells. I don't mean her natural scent, because her family smells perfectly fine. She's Muslim I think, but her mom is American. So she's half, i think. Anyways, whenever I'm around her, my nose wants to barf. And also, her armpits are always hairy, and don't get me started on her eyebrows! So , what im trying to say is, how do I keep being a good friend to her if I can't really stand her? Sometimes, I even avoid her because I don't like her at times. Other days, she can be annoying too. Is it normal to have a friend you don't really like but it's like you're forced to hang with??

    invite her over for a girly night and buy in a waxing kit (eyebrows and armpits sorted) talk about your fav perfumes and put on body lotions.. also better than bo spray if the lotion is all natural. good luck :)

    Depends, Is she a serious muslim (culturally speaking) cause if yes it's part of her religion. If no then don't be afraid to ask "do you use deodorant?" If she really is a friend she'll understand, if not then fuck her. She may not change, but if she's considerate of others that's a start.

    sounds like you don't really want to be her friend, you should gradually stop hanging out with her so she'll get the hint but don't be mean about it.

    I've noticed that this behaviour is sometimes one that is culturally originated. Bring up the subject with her, that is if it truly does bother you, but do it gently. Also, you should get your priorities straight. The title makes it appear that your biggest problem is her body odors yet, you seem to have a problem with HER for her. You should take time to think things over.
