My freind gets drunk off...tea?

Almost every day, a work freind of mine named T.J. gets drunk every day off tea on lunch break. He dosn't pass my drunk test ( I learned from watching police chases how to do it) He insists he's not drunk, even though he says it muttering and slower than when he's not drunk. When he's drunk he also finds almost anything I tell or ask him funny. He also insists he dosn't get drunk before lunch break. Me and him have gotten into a few serious arguements over it, but other than that, we're still freinds. PLEASE VOTE and comment, if you want. Him: ※;) "I'm not drunk!"

        It's not some kind of "relaxation" tea is it? A lot of those (like the Bob Marley shit) have sleep aids in them, melatonin and valerian and things like that.

        I can't drink those, they put me right the fuck to sleep.

    If the tea he is drinking is fermented (old), then that may help to explain why he seems drunk.

    Do you watch him make it? Perhaps, he slips some booze in it during preparation. Is he on any medication?

    Maybe he takes some medication that makes him seem drunk. Some medications mimic alcohol intoxication.
