My eye suddenly went blurry and is still like this?

Hi, for an unknown reason my vision in my left eye has gone blurry. I had no contact with anything at all. It just suddenly went blurry. Any ideas besides just telling me to see a doctor.

    It could depend on your age. If you are around late 40's-50s, you could be dealing with something fairly common. My dad lost sight in one eye one day and went to the doctor. The doctor told him it was common in men his age to temporarily lose sight in one eye for a day or so.

    You should go to the doctor to be sure.

    Do you take any medication?

    Do you have a migraine?

    Is that the only symptom? If you start seeing bright flashes or a shadow coming over your eye than I would be worried.

    Obviously if it gets worse or doesn't go away I wouldn't leave it to chance.

    Yeah migraine is a possibility but you'd rather see a doctor instead of waiting for a useful answer on an online "forum" (what is IIN actually?^^)
