My ex tells me he misses me, then stops talking to me

About a month ago I broke up with my boyfriend because he got a new job and couldn't move away we me like we had planned.

Later it turned out that he lied to me for almost two weeks, and said we actually broke up because I was boring, that he was scared of me and that I was miserable all the time. Everyone I have asked (including his friends) disagree with this.

Now he phoned me the other day after a month of not talking, said he has turned this job down, that he wishes things were different and that he missed me. Now guessing where he was going I suggested we meet to talk, however now he isn't talking me to me and not replying to my texts and it's really annoyed me that he'd tell me all this stuff, then stop talking to me.

So I ask, what would you do?

    ha. well, yeah, people will tell you the weirdest shit like they love you and yet it not mean anything. when people say they wish things were different or that they're aware they are a certain way it usually means they're accepting of those things and their ways and have no intention of changing them

      soo true! why do people lie all the time and say things that they don't mean like 'i miss you' ect. How do you EVER know when a persons telling the truth ? O.o

        i don't think they lie, they do feel it but it just doesn't mean anything as to them wanting to do anything about it
