My dreams are extremly vivid and some happen in real life!

Is it normal to have dreams that actully happen? When i was traveling to visit my father i told him i had these dreams. He gets them to . both of our dreams are terribly vivid and frightning . One of the nights i was there me and him woke from a nightmare at the exact same time. Is it possible that i am somehow connected to him through our dreams. He is my biological father.

I had a dream that happened in real life once. It really creeped me out.

Sometimes my dreams are so real that I am confused the next day about what is real life and what isn't.

    So perfectly normal.

nice to know im not alone hah i have a dream every night im not even generalizing this i literally dream every night nowadays and they get sooo vivid and realistic. they always have someone from real life so its so much funn to like live in the dream. i can even tell when dreams repeat or extend from past dreams idk its weird. ever since i was little ive almost trained myself to change dreams or like wake up from bad dreams which brought up the problem of waking up in a dream or watever but anyways i might be a psych major and dreaming is why i would pursue it.. your dreaming experience is very interestingg, maybe you guyes should talk dreams out thatd be a cool conversation (:

I read about this girl who would wake up with the samething happening to her but it was only for 1 second and then everything would turn back to normal. I think it's pretty cool! =)

You could get a different answer from each and every person who reads this.

All I can say with confidence: There's no black or white with dreams, such as the case in waking hours. For example, to say "to dream about snakes means.......whatever" Lots of factors involved. Maybe you watched a movie with snakes or had a long conversation about them. Maybe you've been under lots of stress and you're working it out through dreaming (and a snake happened to be in the dream). Then, perhaps a premonition is occurring (i.e. you only dream of snakes when a death is about to occur---I'm not saying that is the case---just an example). Lots of variables. No one simple rule

  • Maybe both of you have 'the Shining'. Watch the movie if you don't understand.
