Is it normal my dad said if I meet him again he's gonna call the cops since he's 18 years older than me. I don't think it's right cause a person shouldn't be able to control another persons emotions.

He's not controlling your emotions, he's controlling who you have contact with and if you're under 18 and sexually involved with someone a lot older, he's probably looking out for you.

Being a child/minor in an adult relationship can really mess you up, especially if it become sexual in anyway; because not only are you still maturing mentally and physically, you're also learning from this guy on how to behave with men. Most older men who chase incredibly young girls only want sex or someone to control.
If you're under 18, your father probqbly just wants whats best for you. Despite what you think now, you're really too young to know that for yourself. Older men can and have taken advantage of naive teenagers.

It all depends how old you are and what kind of person the BF is. I had a GF with that age difference without probs from her folks - in fact they were very welcoming, but she was 24.
Of course it's normal. He's just trying to protect you. My best advice would be to show him you're a responsible adult and that you can make your own choices. Or maybe just talk to him. And hide every phone in your house xD.
Normal. Parents are known for ruining their child's life. How old are you? Maybe your dad thinks he's a pedophile if you're below 18. An 18-year age gap can also be considered taboo in some parts of our cruel world. I wish you well.
