    When it's with your father it's called incest. You are an adult now, so it's your right to choose. If he and your mother are still married than you should consider how she might feel knowing this.....

            I know it because I have a brain and I'm capable of reasonable thought. This is written in the format of erotica, not a legitimate story. This is not a court of law, I don't need proof beyond a reasonable doubt to state what it plainly obvious to me.

            But you are correct that in general terms, someone with a legitimate situation may come across this troll post via a web search about their own real situation. In that respect, I would rate your advice as extremely harmful not helpful.

            That makes it sound like her mother would be upset rather than supportive, though I realize that is not how you intended it to sound. But that might discourage a real victim who reads that not to tell their mother about the situation, when that is exactly what they should do.

              I was responding to the irrelevant issue of whether or not the parents were separated. And some mothers are NOT supportive of their children in this type of situation because they feel they could/should have prevented it so blame the child, letting the perpetrator, on whom they may well be financially and/or emotionally dependent, off the hook.

              That's all I meant and how is anything I wrote harmful? The comment of mine you've quoted isn't advice anyway, it's a response as explained above.

              You may be right about it being written as erotica but it's also true that in this situation the parent is in fact eroticising a relationship which should be a parent-child one and not that of lovers
