My crush is wishy-washy....

So I really need you guys' help on this.

I live on the east-coast, my crush lives on the west-coast. (We’ve known each other for about a year.) We both REALLY like each other and have always been upfront about that fact. We also agree that staying friends until we meet face-to-face is best for both of us.

Recently, however, my crush has changed their attitude toward me a little; they talk a LOT (And I mean a LOT) about people they are "smitten with" or "crushing on" (And I mean people they actually _know_, not celebrities or fictional people) so my question is this:

Should I write my crush off or should I not take what they’re saying seriously? Have I been permanently and irreversibly friend-zoned? What do you guys think? : >

Confront them about their behavior 7
Forget them-they have friendzoned you 16
Stick around-They oviously like you 2
Other 4
Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

You guys live on opposite sides of the country. Your crush probably feels like youre never going to be close enough to have an actual relationship. So since you guys are strictly friends right now, your crush probably feels like they can come to you as a friend and tell you about the people that they like. It seems like you are more into your crush than your crush is into you.

I, too, had a crush on Wishy-Washy. He got ALL the stains out and for a fraction of the cost.

I'd leave it alone in belief he'll do the same to me but who cares!! life's to short enjoy your life with whomever.. in the meantime be paitient until you meet him in person you'll feel the vibe then from there you'll know if continuing is a good idea.

You're probably never going to meet them face-to-face so what does it matter? You're on opposite sides of the country. Just find a significant other close to where you live.

Well sure, I might end up dating locally again but the whole reason I started doing this in the first place is because it's really difficult for me to find local dates who have the super uncommon beliefs and interests that I do....The easiest option isn't always the best one which is why I'm so torn on this issue....
