My coworkers had a party because a horrible boss retired

Ive heard of retirement parties, but where I work after this horrible woman retired, they didn't throw her a party they had a party because she was gone. I didn't go but a bunch of them went out to dinner and had drinks and even made a piñata shaped like her...I didn't like this woman either but I was shocked they did this, kind of mean but kind of funny.

If she really was THAT much of a horrible person that they had to celebrate her retirement, then yes, it's normal.

  Im sure someone leaked the info, you know how people cant keep their mouths shut.
  I sent her a card with a picture of a braying donkey that said "About time you go, you big horse's ass!" but I sent it anonymously.
