My friend ordered pizza about a month ago and she said there was a really attractive and friendly delivery man. So a little over a week ago, she ordered again and just hoped maybe it would be him. It was him and they exchanged numbers because she flirted with him and wrote hers down for him and then he gave her his.

Well after a week of talking on the phone for 2 hours each night (so she says), my friend changed her status on FB to engaged. I immediately thought it was a joke and asked her about it. She said it wasn't a joke and that Jared was very serious with her and he said he'd let her pick out an engagement ring next weekend. She's in her early twenties and still in the middle of studying at university and randomly this Jared pizza delivery man comes into her life and boom, engaged. She wants an engagement party and everything sometime later this year....what?? IIN?

    Lmfao. One week of talking on the phone and they're engaged? This is why I think marriage is overrated. People like them don't take it seriously. They're just going to wind up wasting a shitload of money getting married just to waste a shitload of money to divorce. Heck, they might even break up the engagement way before that.

    Well, my mom and step dad got engaged after 5 weeks and July 1st is their 9 year anniversary. I guess sometimes you jusy know.

    The fact that she is choosing this situation has nothing to do with you. If u want to continue being a friend, you will do what a friend does and be unconditional. If you dont want to continue your friendship, dont. Simple.
    Might want to ask yourself if there isnt something your feeling that may be causing your thoughts about your friends choice.
