That girl being held by her mother and father for the first time, growing up going to school plays and smiling and laughing and playing jump rope and learning to ride her bike. And she grew up and some asshole killed her and a piece of everyone she knew. Admire him then.

you should watch 48 hours, it's the closest thing to snuff films you'll see on TV, they track real murderers and show you real dead people, real blood all over the fucking place and real families that deal with the aftermath of a loved one being stolen away...people being torn from this world in the prime of their life, often over NOTHING.

Hmmm. This is of particular interest to me since I know/knew people that were murdered at a more or less random robbing, hijacking, kidnapping. I think what you're getting at is the "freedom" to feel you can do what you want. Have you asked your cousin about the circumstance and how he feels? Sure, some killings are justified by self defense etc. For those people like the people who murdered my friends; I'll say that if I'd have been there I'd have tried to take them out. Other than that, neither their death or incarcerations brings any comfort. I'm not a "hero" I just figure if you're already threatening my life, what have I got to lose?
