If the girl isn't wearing inappropriate clothing then nobody will know she's wearing a thong. If guys know what underwear she's wearing then she's probably a slut anyway, regardless of her underwear.

Thongs are pretty adult anyway, however many flowers or stars are on them, so I expect it's more normal you're wearing them now then when you were 14.
