My brother throws tantrums... he's 12. iin?

Um, okay, I have a little brother who can't bear it when he doesn't get his own way, like, a few mintues ago he threw a tantrum because he wanted the end piece of the bread, but I ate it first (bear in mind there a TWO end pieces, one of which was still available -_-").
When he has a tantrum his face screws up and goes red, and he starts crying and screaming at the top of his lungs.
I realise this is normal behaviour for a 4 year old... but he's 12. ¬_¬

It's scarily normal for this day and age. I'm appalled at the immature behaviour of some 15/16 year olds I see. Parents in general just really suck nowadays. Totally ineffective.

Err... This is super-embarrassing but I used to do that too .___.
I was a spoiled, bratty person as a child. I was a know-it-all, a bookworm, nobody liked me and I was really lonely.
I had loads of tantrums all the time. I am still pretty bitter about my childhood... I was an annoying person, but it still makes me sad to think of having no friends.

I still have some problems, I think. I don't like admitting it... I am definitely a problem child, my sister called me that once and of course I got terribly upset and started to cry...

But I have one secret weapon!! I am an optimist. I believe that I have changed a lot, and that I will grow and change even more for the better as I get older. I have so much ahead of me in life, and so does your brother. He will get better, trust me, unless he is seriously bad-natured. :) Just forget about the past and smile, just remember that he will probably pass through this stage.

No, 12 is way to old for that sort of behaviour.

Kids are really annoying. My niece of 10, she cant or wont shut up till she gets her way. Just give him some space and tell your dad to teach him what he does is immature and that he is being a baby. That will create an ego depression and to impress your dad and show him hes not a baby, he will listen.
