So I was adopted by a family my mom, new dad and big bro. i didnt like my old dad or my new one but my big bro (18) really dislikes him he talks to me and mom but he avoids his dad when hus dad visits is it normal for guys to dislike there dads? If ao why?

    Yes especially since he's 18, when young boys start becoming adults they very easily get angry with their fathers. I wen't through the same thing in the past, it doesn't necessarily mean there was ever any abuse, it's just that when boys start becoming men they seek to assert their dominance and the current adult male in the house puts them in their place and it causes problems. It usually fades out in a few years, at least it did with me.

      Well that's why im worried his dad doesn't live with us and his dads like a real no violence no guns guy. And my bro is in the military when ever they talk they always fight do you still think it will get better?
