Yeah, not an easy topic to bring up. What I would suggest is trying different sexual positions. From some angles he can get deeper penetration and more sensation. Try laying on your back with your legs either pulled back toward your chest or draped over his shoulders. When you are on top, try moving your hips back to the point where his shaft is vertical. Move your hips up & down instead of using a rocking motion.
