So my boyfriend and I have been dating for about 4 months now, ever since we started dating he rarely called or text, and left it up to me to do all the work. Yet when we did actually talk he told me things like I am his goddess and cheesy shit like that. He hasn't been in a real relationship before me... and he doesn't seem to know that a girl usually requires a certain amount of attention in a relationship. He makes me feel like I don't exist sometimes. and we spend a week to two weeks apart. But when we see each other he's all over me and crazy about me. i guess my question is.. is he actually not interested or does he just not get "relationships" yet? is this normal??

    He has no experience. So you are going to have to teach him by example, by being honest, by communicating etc.

    If that doesn't work BrightEyes ^^^ might have a good stiff corpse for you.

    I know it's hard!! Belive me I'm in the same situation :( but stop calling txting emailing and let him be the hunter and you be hunt jaja
    It's part of the dating process feeling butterflys and leave him to talk if he wants to talk not by his mother!!!! You deserve someone pick the phone if you call right?

    he freaked out and hasn't returned my phone calls for the past two days after i tried to open up to him. yet his mother tells me he's trying to figure out what to say. he sent me one text and said that he wasn't ready to talk to me yet. he's been a loner all of his life and never had a real friend .. i assume that the closeness of us is making him overwhelmed. we dont see each other alot because he lives about 45 minutes away. but we have *bay are rapid transit* which is very cheap and goes all over the bay area. so there really is no excuse except for the fact that I work alot ....because hes not working at the moment, but he gets payed by being in the army reserves. so i dont know. All i know is I havn't heard from him since I tried to tell him how I feel.

    Is there a good reason for why you two don't see each other for so long? Maybe you should tell him that you'd like to be texted and called and so forth.
