My boyfriend says he loves me less

My boyfriend is 18 and I'm 17. He says that all the fighting we've gone through has caused him to lose love for me. I feel like since he's so young that he doesn't fully understand love. What do you think? Do other people go through this, especially when young? We're in high school and have been dating for 3 years.

    I think love means different things to different people, regardless of age. I also think love can fade, just as any other emotion can.

    However, as you say, he may simply being saying things in the 'heat of the moment' to hurt you, or to punish you for the argument.
