my bf was talking to me the other night, he was talking about how his brother and his gf live together and that his parents pay for their place and the gf doesn't pay anything. then he proceeded to say this, "if we live together you would pay half right?" and i said yes. but isn't the bf supposed to pay for everything? we aren't engaged but he just asked. what do yiu guys think

    You both should pay for everything!! It's not fair to make him pay for it all me and my fiance lived together when we were just boyfriend and girlfriend and I paid half of everything I still do its an equal partnership!

        No doubt especially if your gonna be the cunt cooking it, thats a good fucking question for him are you gonna rotate days for cooking or cooking for your own selves only? And are you guys washing your own laundry cause if your washing his shit as well he can buy the fuckin supplys and if you doing it separately he better be buying his own shit to wash his clothes with and not tapping into your personal laundry supplies because that defeats the purpose of half.     It's a good idea. I know of some married people opening (women at least not to say men don't do this also.) A secret credit card which you can imagine that makes it the husbands problem too if wifey goes wild on it

    If you're not married you have To pay your share that's only fair. Unless he happens to be really rich and you are struggling then I think exceptions can be made. But realistically y'all are probably young and why should he cover you if you're not even married?
