My boyfriend annoys the shit out of me!

My boyfriend and I were best friends before we started dating, and we sort of got into things very fast. Our relationship started off on a bad foot after he kissed a girl right in front of me, but we weren't exactly official yet, so after much begging I decided to forgive and forget (or at least try). We have been dating for almost 9 months now, which is the longest I've ever been with any guy, and he is just starting to annoy me to no end! He does so many things that I think are immature and I just can't stand, but I couldn't bring myself to break up with him. He tells me he loves me all the time, and I tell him too, but lately I haven't been so sure. Besides all these things, sometimes when I look at him my heart just melts. Mostly when he is doing something he enjoys and not bothering me. This is when I feel like he could be someone I could be with forever. Is this normal?

Kill him. That's how I handled mine.

  • Break up with him. If you can't deal with him doting on you, then move on. He seems like he would be good for the right person, just not you maybe?

When you truly love someone, it is just normal to overlook their shortcomings, it appears you have fallen out of love. May be time to move on, but give it a large amount of thought first.

you obviously aren't even at the point where he will start farting around you, openly admitting that he finds random women attractive and prefers getting drunk/high with his buddies over you. You are in for a real treat :)

actually, he does all those things. we're like best friends and have been since before we started dating. those aren't the things that annoy me. I understand that he's a guy.

haha well then that's just called being in a relationship. I have to say that 9 months seems pretty early to be at this stage but considering that you were best friends before I guess it makes sense. Anyway no matter who you will date there will always be stuff that annoys you about him, but if being around him makes you comfortable and happy, and if you miss him when he is not around for a while it makes up for it and you know it's serious. Guys are just immature by nature, especially around people they feel comfortable with so it's a compliment..kinda :P

Trust me, these little things that annoy you now will only get worse. Your intuition is trying to tell you something.

He is a guy, I speak for our entire population when I say, there are some immaturity's that you are going to have to deal with when dating us. Nothing serious but the little things. There are things girls do that annoy guys too. Dating is give and take!

If the things he does annoy you too much to deal with, end it now. The longer you wait the more you will hurt him.

Did I ever tell you the one about the constipated mathematician? She worked it out with a pencil.

Are the things that piss you off an issue with him or an issue with you? If it's him, let him know in a nice way and ask him to do something about it (he might ask you to change something too). If in a month theres no efforts being put in, then dump him. Relationships take (a little) bit of effort at times and if he's not putting any in then he isn't mature enough to be dating.

Give him prune juice to keep him regular or use prunes as a butter substitute.

Tell him that he's getting on your nerves. Give him a ultimatum.

You should market him as a laxative.
