We've been together for almost a year, and lately, that is for the past two months, all we talk about is our pet doggies, and about the dogs we had in the past. We've discussed almost all details. And the weirdest thing is that we've stopped conversing on any other topic. I enjoy it, and he seems to like it too. Is all this normal?
When I used to go to church as a kid, pets were ALL that I would talk about. It's normal but eventually I began to panic about whether or not I was getting on their nerves or if they thought I was only capable of talking about a limited topic.
Beg my pardon, but do you still talk about pets during and after you've had sex? I don't know, I think it's a good thing to be able to converse about a variety of subjects as opposed to one. But if it makes you two happy, that's good.
that is only normal when you have nothing left in common except your shared pets....I agree with above ...typically the relationship is over... a sad but true realization. good luck.
No it seems to me you've hit a dead end. Maybe you should seek some counseling if you want to stay with him cause else it seems like itll fall apart :(
If you are both happy with it, what's the problem? Do you not go out on dates and such like? Surely you must talk about those, or is it literally just pets? That is very cute, either way.
