My boss rips me off $6,000, i pull a gun to get my $,smart?

I know someone who did this...he worked his ass off for $6,000, his boss tried to rip him off...so he went to his bosses house and asked for his money that he earned fair and square. When his boss refused he pulled a gun on him and demanded his money back!....smart or stupid?

Incidently, he only got only a bit of time in county jail for it, and a misdemeaner. For $6,000, I think it was definetly worth it! If I was the judge, I would have cut him with no penalty at all if I could do so without losing my job.

I always pay people what I say I'm going to pay them. Some people have forked tongues and cannot be trusted as far as you can throw them.... they are excuse makers, story tellers, and liars .... I hate those kind of people! These people will even peg you as someone who keeps your word and then try to take advantage by any means necessary, total scum!

    I actually agree thats totally smart. Pull a gun on the bastard, make him pay for that $6,000 dollars.....then when you get arrested, thrown in jail, and bail's set at $50,000 you'll know you sure taught him a lesson! Smarty pants.

      well since being bonded out of of jail is only 10%, (or in you're theory's case $5,000) he still made out with $1,000 dollars. woohoo.

    I don't live in a country where we pull guns on each other or litigate particularly. We say "You pesky swine" and leave it at that. The victim of pesky-swining knows (s)he has wronged an individual. It's enough.

    very dumb. but the legal option would be to sue. and if its your boss that means that he might have a better lawyer and have a better chance at covering it up. i like that guys style just taking the money back, but he should have an ultimatum that makes the boss not able to call the cops.

    I think if the end justifies the means then go for it! There is too much of this, as the fraudsters know it can take a long and costly action to sue them. I'd do the same - only I'd have to make sure there were no bullets in the gun in case I shot the b@stard in temper!!

    If someone done this to me and knew that the money was mine fairly and still decided not to give it to me then I wouldn't ask for the money, I would break his legs or stab his eye balls because they deserve to pay for what they done in a way that they would never forget. The would realise that if only they paid me the money I rightfuly worked for then they wouldn't have to live in a wheelchair for the rest of their lives. It would make them feel that it was their fault and it rightfully was their fault. I dislike people that try to sucker you for their own good.

        I don't have anger issues. I feel that if you work for something and/or it's rightfuly yours then you should be given it. People that try to sucker you like that should be punished by something that stays with them for the rest of their lives, to remind them that not doing what's fair should be punished.

          I know what you mean. I do agree with you. I just think seriously, you should just go to the police. We live in a modern society, we've surpassed the barbaric ages of before and you can't just go around severely hurting people for revenge any more. You shouldn't even want to. I've had some shit happen to me in my life, and obviously I've felt like I wanted to hurt them, but now as an adult I would never actually do it.

          It's a toughie, I think for money, hurting people is a no no. But if some-one really hurt your family on purpose, well I suppose I'd let you go ape...

            I've had alot happen in my life too, I never wanted revenge for it though. Maybe the money is for your family? Which is why you tried to get it in the first place. The law isn't perfect and someone with alot of money syrely would find their way out of paying you what is yours.

              No I know the law isn't perfect. I just don't think money is very important. Certainly not important to risk going to jail yourself. That wouldn't do your family much good. If someone raped, killed or disabled any of my family though then I would maybe risk going to jail to get that person back.

No thanks, I have no money to travel but if you really wish to meet I will give you my address, afterall you are the one trying to prove something here so you should do the work to prove how "tough" you are. I'm not going to talk big online, if you want to meet up and prove you are more than just talk then ask for my address and meet me but if you plan on making up an excuse then don't bother replying.
