My boss had cameras installed in the floor pointing up

He had them installed in the hallways under glass panels in the floor. Is this normal for assembly line work of high-end products? His reason was that items had gone missing and this was an extra security measure. There are already cameras on the ceiling and a metal detector.

      No. Small round panels of glass in a carpeted floor, about 6" in diameter.

    Glass panels in the floor? Sounds like very, very slippery floors. I guess he's rich enough to afford all the suits when his employees slip and fall. Or you are lying.
