My Cousin that I am very close with for a very long time. She more than that she's like my sister we hangout and do everything together, ever sense she was little. But sense she's grown up she's acted really snotty to me. She's never appreciated anything I've gotten her. Never thanked me for anything I sent her in the mail. I bought her this really nice white gold necklace, that had her favorite band on it one Direction! You know I bought her hair bows for dance, she said they look like someone that would wear them in kindergarten. Recently she's down here for Christmas break i made this collage for her I was going to frame it and everything. It was of her favorite celebrities, I asked her I said her name is Emily remember that surprise I had for you? She said yeah so i took her down stairs and I showed her she looked at it and I told her what I was going to do with it. She looked at me and said " you know I don't think it will really go with theme but can you make me another one? " yeah she's 12 I think she acts a little too big for her pants. I want to associate with her when she comes over but at the same time I'm like blah I don't know what to do? I feel kinda hurt and feel bad at the same time,

    I'd say that, unfortunately, this is normal. The only thing I can really say to this is "eh, she's 12". Know this, 12 yr olds are monsters. You have only been subjected to what is known as a preteen! But the joke is on her because guess who she's not inheriting a fake I.D. from/getting beer from/going to fun parties with when she turns 18 and stops being such a snob? You.

    Fuck her if she cannot appreciate you. She might be in that age where she tries too hard to be a grown-up.
