My best friend has started to like someone else more and insults me

Me and my best friend have not been best friends for long and he is now started to like someone else more than me and is now saying bad things to me when the his other friend is with us he is all nice to me when it's just us but when his other friend comes he just leaves me and wants to hang around with his other friend. It's so sad because I really do like him I sometimes think it is a phase and he knows he is being bad to me then he says sorry later when we are alone and later on does it again it breaks my heart I really don't wanna lose him he is one of the only people who i like.

    Sounds like an awful friend. If he's like this now, think of how he'll act around you when he hangs out with other crowds. Ditch him. He's being two faced so he can feel 'accepted' by the other friend.
