Ok so my belly button isnt all black it just has this black thing in it i have tried to pull it off with tweezers bobby pins i pick at it alot my brother has one too his is bigger he says its part of his ambilical cord is this normal what is it?
I was researching discoloration of the belly button, cannot find anything. Im black and inside my belly button is white. I just noticed it.
Well it is possible to have part of your umbilical cord still attached.
If you think there's an issue with it however, indeed talking to a medical professional may be the best thing.
If you think it's just debris in it however, you may want to try soaking in a tub to help soften your skin up and dislodge the substance. However at the same time, don't force things, just in case it does turn out to be some of your own skin. (No need to damage yourself just to pick at it I mean)

SOO i went to the doctors today she removed it.. it was just a build up of "discarded and dead tissue" i have a pretty major innie ... but its to do with dry skin and other stuff
no i havent seen a doctor i will in a few weeks tho i have an appointment for another thing but i will see what she thinks about it.But so lately its been buggin me alot and i have been pullin on it n twisting it alot and it finally came out it was just a black thing like ive had for years i thought about keeping it in a bag to show the doc but my bf said to throw it away neways i barely bleed and it was inflamed for a few days but thats about it but now the inside of my belly button looks n feels wierd
Weird... Could be your umbilical cord. Don't pull to hard you might pull your intestines out lol.
i do clean my shit thank u asscake its like attached to the inside of my bellybutton and i pull on it with tweezers but it wont come out it is attached to me
The inside of both my kids' belly buttons are black, It is their birthmark..... I know this post is old AF but here's my comment
maybe your real black daddy OR you had a crappy doctor that didnt cut the ambilical corde right OR it was a threesome between morgan freeman your dad and your mom which caused that OR HOME BIRTH

No its not infected it is attached its wierd like i have had it forever since i was born so does my little brother we have never had a problem with them just annoy us u know i was just wondering if anyone else had one and what they thought it was oh i have no insurance right now but when i get some i will ask the doc to look at it when i can go
go to the doctor if you are worried about it. he/she will be able to tell you if you need to be concerned or not.
