Music seeping into dreams

I listen to my mp3 player almost every night, and it continues to play while i sleep.

I have it set on single track repeat mode, and as it happens, i hear the song playing within the dreams i might have that night. Whatever the song, it seeps into the dream and plays like background music.

For example, in my dream last night, i was lost within a jungle enclosed in a massive metal cage, and i was trying to find the exit... yet all through this dream, i hear tupac rapping in the background and i'm plainly aware of it, and as it turns out, a tupac song was playing on repeat on my mp3 player during my sleep.

Is it just me who experiences this?

    The fact that you were listening to Tupac definitely is not normal.

    I've never had that happen to me and I sleep with music all of the time. Sometimes, I do hear original music pieces in my head. :)

    Verrrrrry normal bud. If you really wanna have something trippy set up a radio static to play why you sleep and try to control your breathing.

    yea this happens to me too, i try to listen to the craziest fucked up music i can find to see if it makes my dreams any different lol

    Yeah it's normal, I listen to 2pac while I fall asleep too.

    Never tried it with music, but I realise when my mums alarm plays in the other room I can hear it as a background noise in my dream and it doesnt effect the dream itself

    Its normal. In my dreams, when my Ihome goes off it goes BEEP BEEP BEEP alot and then in my dreams a I hear this and a bomb goes off!

    I am the same way. Its normal. I cant sleep without music and most of the time the music I am listening to gets into my dreams.

    It's very normal for this to happen.
    when people talk to me or make noises while I sleep, it very often gets into my dreams...
