So I'm 20 I recently got the money my dad left me. I want to use the money to get my on place but my mum won't let me. I have tried to persuade her but she won't listen.
Is this normal

    How exactly can she not let you? Spend the money how you want, and just move. If she's physically stopping you with threats, well, that's illegal.

    Your mom cannot force you to do anything since you are a legal adult. It seems like you are letting her guilt trip you or you have not fully realized that your mom has no control over your life anymore.
