My mom has had about 13 surgeries for her Rheumatoid arthritis. The recent 2 that she has had after she woke up and came home from the hospital she experienced an "out of body feeling". When ever she tried to go to sleep she would wake up gasping for air. We had to go to he hospital both times late in the morning. The Dr. at the hospital just gave her a sleeping pill so that she could fall asleep. She feels tired in the morning. Is this "out of body feeling" normal?

    Shes doing fine now :) just anxiety because of the surgery.

    OBE shouldn't make you wake up gasping for air. It's more like you freaking out that you had an OBE.
