Mother naked

Nudity is totally and completely normal. Our society's judgments on it are not. All indigenous peoples and our ancestors when you go back far enough were nude in front of each other all the time. I would search within yourself to figure out why it makes you uncomfortable. You can also ask your mom specifically why she does it. It may be nothing more than comfort and convenience for her, which is no big deal. But if she is doing it in front of you intentionally for a reason, that might be a little weird. If you are female, you need to get over yourself. If you are male then maybe you just need to explain to her that although it should not be a big deal, our culture makes it out to be one and it makes you therefore feel uncomfortable because your friend's mom's don't do that (even though they might!!!) Talk to her with respect about it and hopefully she will respect you back. Maybe compromise about her simply not walking nude into the room you happen to be in at the time.

Nudity is normal. You should get naked and walk around the house to see her reactions. You guys might have a better relationship then.

My mom has more respect for the household than that. I once went to my friends house and her mom was just moseying around the house nude. I guess you could have it worse, your friends could be there.

she is your mom let her be naked in her own house . you will get used to it so just chill .

I have seen my mother moving around at home totally nude. Not once, many many times. It has given me encouragement to take off clothes on one pretext or other. It is acceptable to mom.

Nudity is normal but its normalcy, when it regards to others, depends on the situation and the people involved. While she does have the right to be nude in her own home, she SHOULD be respectful of the fact that it makes you uncomfortable.

Its her choice if she wants to. Its her body, Its her house, you are her child, respect you mother. Being naked is normal, live with it and stop being a prude.

Yes, my mom use to do it all the time. I don't live with her any more...but even when I told her it was annoying she didn't care. Some people just like to be free...clothes are annoying!

For a nudist it might be normal. But I would find that very weird if someone in my family was doing that.

This is just strange. I can't imagine being raised in a house where that behavior is considered normal. 40% normal? I'm shocked.

I only saw my mother naked when I started to take care of her. She had terminal cancer. She was mortified but understood. I haven't let my kids see me either.

When you get your own house you can tell everyone to stay dressed. It IS normal, and legal, for anyone in the PRIVACY of their own home to be nude (but not lude). As long as nobody outside and not trespassing can see your nudity you have the right. [in most of the United States]

Yeah man it is totally normal to feel that gross! I feel the same way because my mo do the same thing! She goes around my house nude/naked<! It is hop0rrible and I think it is vulgar!!! I don´t know if she thinks she has a model body or what but it annoys me so much! YEAH TOTALLY NORMAL!!!

I don't know how people do that around their kids. I never even caught a glimpse of my mother naked my entire life.

If I am nude in parts of my house other than bathroom/bedroom there is usually a sexual thrill attached to it so I immediately questioned your mother's motives when I read your post.
