Oh it's normal, but that's only because people don't think it through. Trust me, money matters. I don't want to sound condescending, but you sound rather young. Speaking anecdotally, it's easy to say "hell with it, I don't need to become a millionaire, I'll be just fine." but practically speaking, I can tell you that's short-sighted and you'll kick yourself for not planning better. For the first 35 years of my life I hadn't been well off. I made all buying decisions down to the $1 burger based on how much I would have left until payday, which was usually $0.00 on the day I would get paid next. It's extremely frustrating and incredibly stressful living that way. Now, I have a job making 3 times what the average person in my area makes and life has never been better. You can bs yourself with rainbows and butterflies all day long about how money doesn't buy happiness, but at the end of the day, that's bullshit. Learn a trade, make some cash, live happy.

You cannot live just to die. That's ludicrous. Money is the most important tangible thing in this world. Other than tangerines.

I knoe but in the afterlife destination, where ever that maybe, everything we need will be provided so it not important. Cause when we die we are more alive then we are living or halfway dead. Orion is the final designation.

No I got this comment, it makes perfect sense. I think what Dempsey was trying to say is that, when we die we are effectively the living dead, who are far more alive than non-dead living people are, or even halfway dead living people are, as we will be dead for much longer than we were living, except if course during living when dead or halfway dead. Furthermore everybody knows that the living dead come out at night, and we would normally be asleep at night when alive, so when dead we would be far more alive than we were when we were alive. Well maybe halfway more alive.
Yep, I'm pretty sure that's what she meant.

Money won't buy happiness but it sure can buy some peace of mind.

Got that right, while it doesn't buy you a loving wife and kids (I actually don't have any idea how to get that) money does give you some leverage in the pursuit of quality of life.
