My mother is in her 50s and she still wears a bikini. Okay she has a decent figure but I get embarrassed seeing her revealing her tummy and belly button in public or in the back garden Am I over reacting?

    There are many teens and 20's and thirty yr olds who wear bikinis that embarrass everyone who has to look at them ...they shouldn't be allowed to wear them without being fined. Rolls of fat and bulges and cauliflower bums and tums. You should give your mom a gold medal if she still looks good in a bikini...and quite a few over 50's can still manage to do that.

    My hot older sister is 50, and still looks a-fkn-mazing in her tiny, black bikini..Wore it for a little bit at a gathering last Summer, and, much younger women were complimenting her and saying they wished they looked that good/hot in a bikini, not only at her age, but, currently.

    She also wears crop tops and other midsection and chest-baring tops that cause men and women to look in amazement. She just has a naturally fit, great body. I don't blame her one bit for showing it off.

      Yes, I should. Maybe it's time I complimented her on looking so good for her age and the fact that she can still wear a bikini.

    Can your mother wear a bikini? If she can, well it's her choice and if she can't, it's still her choice, I mean it's her life and her body it shouldn't affect you

      I take your point. My mom is definitely her boss and she told me that she plans to wear her bikini into her sixties if the body holds up.

    She, and you, are fine. If at her age she is happen enough with her body to wear nothing but that, she should continue. It takes hard work and gets harder with age and if she is rather in shape, she should show it.

    However I understand your point of view as well, the idea of my parents and the idea of sex is rather hard to understand when I was growing up and it is an adjustment. However, I would try to let it go as it could be a phase for her.
