Missing my period?

I'm young and have only had sex a couple times. But everytime I do, I'm always a week late when starting my period. Every time, I flip out thinking I'm pregnant but then I finally get my period. Is it normal for your period to delay after having sex?I'm not on the pill and we didn't use any other type of protection either besides a condom.

    Hmmm. That never really happens to me, but then again, I don't pay attention. I just have irregular periods, which also causes me to flip out and think I may be pregnant. I hear ya!!

    If you worry about being pregnant you period can be delayed, as weird as it sounds and our bodies are full of bullshit xD
