Misery and depression as a lifestyle, iin?

I have been depressed for a long, long time, with some anger and anxiety thrown in. I went to therapy for a little while but never took any medication, ever. is it normal to live in a constant state of misery and just tough it out like the Irish or the Russians? I have a steady job but hate life, every day sucks.

I allowed myself to live that way for about 18 years. Alone, miserable and uninspired. Finally, I just got tired of it and changed my life. I am glad I did.

I don't know what you mean about the russians or the irish, but hating life is a sad and meaningless existence.

You can change this if you want to, but maybe you'd prefer to just wallow in your own misery? Therapy for a little while is pointless and for some people medication can help.

    It's up to you

Yeah we Irish have the ability to deal with it. Same with the Russians. Maybe try alcohol or fighting other people. Try to do it without getting arrested. It worked for me when I was younger.

What about the Welsh, Germans or Scots?

What do you do besides going to work? Maybe you just need to find something new. As cliche as that sounds. It may reinvigorate your life. I suggest painal.
