Miscarriage and moving on

I was dating this guy for almost a year. It wasn't official but emotions were growing for both parties. He decided to join the military and when he was leaving, he told me to move on. I moved on and I started dating other people. Two months after he told me to move on, I found out I was pregnant but had had a miscarriage. Is it normal that I started a new relationship 4 months after I had a miscarriage from another man?

  • Sorry to hear of the miscarriage & I think you need to check into your birth control situation.

But you were dumped and have moved on. Don't guilt or second guess yourself. He dumped you. What are you supposed to do? Go into mourning?

Don't be hard on yourself & I hope you are getting more out of this new relationship.

Of course it is normal, it means that you have strength of character and "the balls" to move on quickly, the option would have been you lying heartbroken and sitting on your ass never ever going out for the rest of your life. This is life my friend, embrace it, and do NOT let things get you down.

You are not normal, you are a superhuman... and that is normal enough in my book. Good luck onwards.
