Millennials drive like a bunch of pussies

It must be a product of their behelmeted trophy-filled upbringing.

Part of growing up used to be getting a shitty car, fixing it up, going fast, burning tires, drifting (before it was called drifting), and just generally not letting a bunch of overzealous for-profit rules prevent people from getting places in a timely fashion and having fun doing it.

Now all these people not only can't drive for shit, but have no experience with handling a car on the edge of it's abilities and have no fortitude to even bring a car near that margin which is the best skill to have to avoid a collision when a situation arises.

Then there's the fool who won't learn or improve their skills because "we'll all be totally in self-driving electric cars in like 2 years, man, in fact driving your car's gonna be illegal soon".

And these are the idiots causing fatalities with texting.

Yeah right. Just give me a chance to tune up my uncle's red Barchetta, maybe drop a NOS bottle on that bitch.

People like this traded their freedom for liberty long ago. Now they want to trade their and my freedom for a bunch of slow, outrageously expensive, spyware laden, and easily hacked bullshit promises.

Combine this phenomenon with a bunch of elderly baby boomers and it's amazing that anyone ever gets anywhere.

Watch out for one lane bridges and you should be fine.

a lot of people drive poorly and in a distracted manner, you can't just say millennials do it. as a millennial, I completely accept that i'm probably one of the worst drivers on the face of the planet, but that's not because of my generation, that's just because i'm an anxiety-ridden person with limited experience behind the wheel and I have trouble making decisions (should I go? is that person far enough away for me to make this turn? aaahhh!!). but not everyone out there, regardless of when they were born, drives like me. in fact, i'd say i'm in the minority, as far as drivers go. what i'm trying to say is, you really can't generalize and throw an entire generation under the bus just because of a few neurotics like me.

Well, that, and also, the law is everywhere, and extremely hard on you, even for a first time traffic violation. The minute your tires bark once, $550 ticket! My neighbor tells me about stuff they used to do, and how no one is allowed to have any fun anymore, and it only gets worse from there.

It seems the comedy skit with the overprotective parent wrapping their kids in bubblewrap, cardboard tubes, knee pads, and a helmet is becoming a sad, sad reality.

I'm 66 and get mad at stupid drivers. I have driven big rigs, tractors from LA to NY city, fork lifts, many diff. stick shifts. I can turn a car around going 60 on a 2 lane road. I'm 66 and a good driver. I have to keep an eye out for people making stupid land changes and going to slow.
