Mexicans in tv.

Okay so recently I have been noticing that there are almost no Mexican TV commercials or TV at all unless you're watching the Spanish channels. The other Say I was watching TV and kept paying attention to the commercials and noticed that there was always a black person, a white person, and an Asian but not Mexican. I just thought well maybe it was just this commercial. But as I watch more commercial all I saw was either a white person, a black person, or and Asian but still no Mexican. And then I came across a few shows where I saw a Mexican but they were either gardeners, criminal, selling tacos, or something very stereo typical. So what do you people think about this? Is it normal or am I just missing the commercials and TV shows where there are Mexicans?

    You know what really pisses me off? When I watch Mexican stations and they show all mexicans. I'm like "this is bullshit, where are all the crackers?" Shit isn't right....Ohhhhh wait.....

    Actually I seen hispanic people in a few american tv commericials so it's untrue, if you have cable or satellite tv you would see there is diversity in commericials. I seen asians, hispanic, african-american, middle-eastern.

    I do understand there is not alot of diversity such as interracial couples in commericials that's where it can be consider ignorant.

    Interracial couples exist but there frowned upon by the southern population of america.

    I don't know where your from but mexicans are a friggin problem. Not every single one, but a hell of a lot of them. They are here, mostly illegally, and they suck. And the ones that are here with some sort of permission, if you will, get so much free shit from the goverment, its sickening. I'm sick of seeing spanish on every package of any type of thing you buy. I totally disagree with the fact that our kids are tought spanish in preschool all the way through high school. That should be a choice in my opinion. Yet most of those shitbags don't speak a word of english, or they pretend to not understand. Also, they have, like, 10 kids each and the parents never watch the little bastards when they are in public places. I watched 2 of those little creatures playing in a big planter full of sand that's used as an ashtray. Playin with cigarette butts like they were in a sand box. I've also seen them playing in public bathrooms on the floor with no parent in sight. Fuck them.

      I'm Mexican and not everyone is like that. In my school we also learn English all the way from preschool to high school without a choice. Also I only have 2 brothers. I don't know anyone with 10 kids. They would be impossible to watch!

      wow, some hatred you got there. This is beyond a financial economical problem for you. There is obviously some personal prejudice. You refer to them as "little creatures", "little bastards" and "shitbags"

      and its pretty pathetic how you specifically cull a certain race (even though we can equally pinpoint the fact that whites(what you would call "white trailer trash" also pop a liter of 10 "little shitbags" in the south at an exponential rate)

      equally pathetic is how you cite specific examples which have nothing to do with a race at all, like a parent who is careless or not watching their kid, which we have all seen. kids are naturally playful and will explore their surroundings, and obviously at one point or another the parent will not be able to follow the childs every move, hence, a child unattended. The child could be white black..etc. Yet you only cite mexicans.

      Puhleazze. If you are going to rant on a racial tangent, then you will get responses like "go fcuk yourself" and we can do this back and forth to no avail.

      If you want to think in economic terms, since there we are "infested with billions and billions" of them, then to a company you know what that means. CONSUMERS. yes thats right. Im sure you are aware we are a capitalist nation, and that means they are buying and increasing revenue and profit. Oh especially profit since alot of their jobs are minimum wage, and....

      But i need not continue anymore. It is obvious you are not here to debate but will reply to me with some form of response similiar to the one you originally posted, or lol, more likely a "fcuk you" type response.

    People their isn't a such thing as Mexican channel. It's called Hispanic channel, it has Cubans, Portuguese any southern country.

    Almost every commercial has at least one white or black person, i noticed this too. Just sit back on any channel and count how many black or white people or asian people you can find. There are some times you see a brown mexican looking male or female once in awhile but most of the time its for some mexican resturant, suprisingly there are zero mexicans in taco bell commercials just white mainly. lol.

      I am Mexican and I don't like Taco Bell. It's just not real Mexican food. Real Mexican food is much better.

    Sheep you mean the 2 hispanic black guys speaking spanish in fast five? Because does are two puerto ricans. In real life they are famous raggaeton singers not drug dealers, it's just a movie. I do not get why people hears somedy speak spanish and they think they are mexicans

    ok so in the last 60 year we have been fed a mediated diet of "blacks are the problem" but are now on a diet of diversity.. or so you though, its now Mexicans as they have a stereotype of being immigrants and criminals i mean look at the latest fast and furious film... the Mexicans are the problem in that as they are all drug dealing gangsters in the film.

    this will pass when you're old and wrinkly... when im old and wrinkly too (and im 17 now). Then again the government could see this problem and work to reduce it sooner.
